Southern Water has gone out to tender for an alternative water supply services contract worth up to £2.2 million during AMP6.
The water company is looking to appoint several suppliers to the contract which covers the following three separate Lots:
Lot 1 - Supply of bottled water, distribution logistics and storage of resilience stock for planned and emergency events including to vulnerable customers,
Lot 2 - Supply of potable water tankering services for both planned and emergency events,
Lot 3 -Bowser readiness and distribution logistics for both planned and emergency events.
The AMP6 contract, which will run for five years starting 1.12.2015 and concluding 30.11.2020, has an estimated value between £1 million to £2.2 million. The contract also has an option to extend for a further period of 5 years into AMP7.
